Professor Patrick Treacy is an internationally recognised physician, author, humanitarian, and pioneer in aesthetic, regenerative, and longevity medicine. He is Medical Director of Ailesbury Clinics in Ireland and has spent over 40 years in medicine, with clinical and academic interests spanning dermatology, aesthetic complications, regenerative medicine, photobiomodulation, platelet-rich plasma, secretomes, stem-cell signalling, and the biological pathways of ageing.
Prof. Treacy has lectured and trained doctors in more than 40 countries and has contributed significantly to developing safer clinical protocols in aesthetic medicine, including the use of hyaluronidase in vascular occlusion and the management of aesthetic complications. His work has also explored the integration of PRP, photobiomodulation, secretome signalling, and regenerative approaches to skin rejuvenation, tissue repair, inflammation, and longevity medicine.
He has received five international Lifetime Achievement Awards and has been recognised as one of the world’s leading aesthetic physicians, including being named Top Global Aesthetic Doctor. He has served on multiple international scientific boards, editorial boards, and educational faculties, and has trained thousands of doctors and nurses worldwide.
Prof. Treacy is also the author of several books on medicine, humanitarian work, and aesthetic practice. His humanitarian medical work has taken him to regions including Liberia, Haiti, Uganda, South Africa, Pakistan, and the Middle East, where he has supported healthcare, education, and community development projects.
His current work focuses on “biological honesty” in regenerative and longevity medicine — promoting scientifically grounded, clinically responsible approaches to ageing, tissue repair, inflammation, cellular signalling, and patient safety.
